Veneers cannot be made without preparation. We must first know if it is suitable for the patient or not, as the teeth must be prepared so that we can cement the veneers on them without causing inflammation of the gums, bad breath, or debonding — loose veneers that fall off due to poor adhesive.

Hence the importance of preparation: to avoid problems that can affect the teeth if the preparation is not done correctly. The permanent veneers are then manufactured by hand in our own laboratories by our specialists.

Root canal filling usually needs two to three sessions, but at Kayan we are able to finish it in just one session, because we have a dental microscope that can enlarge the dental canals 25 times larger than their normal size. That enables us to see the canals, clean them better, and complete the filling.

A Hollywood smile, or veneers, is the placement of thin — mostly porcelain — coverings on the teeth to improve their shape and colour, to get a smile that resembles that of Hollywood celebrities, hence its name.

Laser teeth whitening may cause sensitivity for some people because of hydrogen peroxide, but it only lasts for a few days. It can also cause burns in the gums if it is done with poor materials or by a non-professional. Unlike common methods it does not damage the enamel, because it works on the second layer of the teeth. At Kayan we use Zoom 4, a current-generation whitening device.

Laser whitening does not last a lifetime, unlike veneers. The longest-lasting results come from consulting your doctor and following the steps needed to keep your teeth whiter for as long as possible.
